Internal and External Surveys
NMC contracted with the Coffman Organization to conduct an Engagement Survey with all NMC employees in the fall of 2009. The results were reported overall and by department. Each department leader was given the results and a manager guide to use to facilitate discussion of the results.
Nebraska Methodist College, as part of its continuous quality improvement effort, implemented a Culture Audit as a mechanism to help evaluate whether faculty, staff and administration feel that our culture is effective in creating a highly successful organization. The Culture Audit is administered every three years beginning with 1994. The findings are reported and action steps are created to address the areas that show the greatest need for improvement.
Student Satisfaction Inventory (SSI)
The SSI is used to assess what is important to students and how satisfied they are at NMC. The data from the SSI is used to develop action steps to improve the student experience and to track progress in these areas. Data from the SSI is also used to benchmark with other institutions. The SSI is administered every 3 years.
National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE)
The NSSE assesses the extent to which students engage in educational practices associated with high levels of learning and development. The NSSE is administered every 3 years.
