OMAHA, NE - Ruth Bergren Elliot Master Teacher Award Winners Named
At Friday night's award night, it was announced that the recipient of the Ruth Bergren Elliott Master Teacher Award for this year were Harsha Sharma and Heather Henrichs. This award recognizes each for their teaching effectiveness and support of student learning.
The award process involved student government soliciting nominations and a selection committee comprised of a representative from student government board, faculty senate representative group, and the deans to review the nominations and make a recommendation to the VPAA.
Thirty-one student nominations were received. Other faculty nominated by the students included: Allison Grandgenett; April Horstman-Reser; Casey Frost; Cathy Barnes; Cheryl Bouckaert; Christy Grant; Gina Wagner; Jenny Elbracht; Kate Malmberg, and Sophie Feng. In addition, three adjunct faculty (Jim Snelling, Linda Kenedy, and Michelle Ham) were nominated.
Congratulations to Harsha and Heather and to all our other faculty that were nominated.
